Saturday: What's on at the Fair...
The Fresh: Art Fair is open from 11am to 6pm on Saturday 27th April at Cheltenham Racecourse.
At the fair you’ll discover 62 galleries selling over 5000 original paintings, prints, sculptures, glass and ceramics. In 2019 there are 18 new exhibitors bringing 150 new artists together with new artists from 33 returning exhibitors. There’s something for everyone!
If you’re a frequent art fair visitor you’ll always find some exhibitors at Fresh: that you haven’t encountered before. We seek out quality galleries that are seldom seen on the UK art fair circuit. You may see them in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore and San Francisco…now you can see them in Cheltenham!
Buying Fresh: Art is easy
Visit the whole show and make a note of the work you like. Go around again and build up a shortlist.
Talk to Exhibitors - they have a wealth of knowledge. Ask about an artist’s back story; they are often really fascinating.
If the price is a stretch, talk to Own Art by Stand 1. They offer interest free credit over 10 months and are Arts Council approved.
Your purchases will be professionally wrapped free of charge and you can have them shipped anywhere in the world. Our packers ‘Stephen Morris Shipping’ will give you an on-the-spot quote.
For framing advice talk to Darbyshire in the foyer. If you need advice on selling pre-contemporary art then Bonhams are on hand to help with a valuation too.
At 1pm and again at 3pm: ‘Art and Interior Design’ with Dee Campling, Interior Designer and Instagram star. In the Talks Room off the Balcony.
AT 2pm and again at 4pm: ‘All about Framing’; a talk given by London and Cotswold frame-makers Darbyshire. In the foyer.
Throughout the day in Studio 1 Jim Starr, painter and master printmaker, will be demonstrating the art of screen printing. Jim’s work has been exhibited widely in London, Paris, Venice, Chicago, Singapore, Tokyo, Palm Beach and most recently at the new Bulgari gallery in Rome. Jim is represented at the Fresh: Art Fair by the Paragon Gallery (Stand 51).
